Daves Logs supplies fully-seasoned firewood ready to be used. We use mixed hardwoods including Oak, Ash, Birch and Beach. 100% pure Ash logs and Kiln-dried Hardwood & Oak logs in a Large builder’s bag.
The Ready to Burn certification mark is available to wood log suppliers like us who can demonstrate to Woodsure our logs have a moisture content below 20%. Woodsure Ltd is the DEFRA appointed Certification Body to administer the Ready to Burn Scheme as recognised in The Air Quality (Domestic Solid Fuels Standards) (England) Regulations 2020. Wood sold in volumes of less than 2m3 must be certified as Ready to Burn by law from 1 May 2021.
The dry split logs are readily prepared and are awaiting delivery in a dry barn. The logs are prepared using good old-fashioned hard work (and a chainsaw…). No heavy machinery i.e. harvester is used, giving careful consideration to locals, wildlife and the forest floor.
